PTO Volunteer Opportunity
Hello Long Cane Elementary family!! My name is Cindy Huff and I am the
new volunteer coordinator. PTO has 3 events coming up over the next few
weeks of school and we are looking for volunteers. Please look over the
following dates, if there are any dates that you are able to help with
please email me at lce.pto@gmail.com. You
may think an hour is not enough time to volunteer but we are grateful
with any amount of time you have to help out. If you can help with all 3
events that is wonderful.
May 4 - CRCT popcorn popping. This is when we do a bag for ever child
in the school and also for the teachers. This is a treat for finishing
the test! It would be an all day thing. We are also going to try to
frameartwork that were pre-ordered on this day as well. That is if we
have enough folks to help!
May 8 - Art show! This will begin at 2 :30. We need people there to
help parents find artwork. We will pass out the ones already framed and
frame the ones that will be purchased on site. This will last to 6 pm.
May 10- Teacher Luncheon. We will need people to come in at 10:30 to
monitor the lunchroom and another group to serve the food to the
teachers. At this luncheon we willbe serving the teachers lunch from
Ciscos.
